Rubbing the "Bloom"
Rubbing the "bloom" off of this hand dyed and hand waxed leather before we make your dog collars and leads. This "bloom" is a sign of high-quality leather. It is the fats, grease, and oils coming to the surface of the leather. It shows as a waxy finish, but if you buff the surface with a cloth or in this case a horsehair brush, it brings the surface to a nice shine. Satisfying jobย ๐
Bespoke Dog Collar and Lead for a Large German Shepherd
A bespoke dog collar and bespoke lead. The lead was made short for a large German Shepherd where a long lead was not needed. I've wanted to line a dog lead handle for a while, and the customer agreed to let me do it on his lead. I like how this one turned out!
